The Saturday Searsport races had great weather. Not that many boats were on hand most likely due to the good weather for hauling, the economy and high fuel prices.

We placed second at 33.5 mph behind Venom, another Mussel Ridge 28 with a Sisu engine, at 37 mph.

Sunday in Stonington, sunny but a stiff breeze at 15 to 25 knots. We got a little wet on the way over. We ran our class hard against some good competition and pulled out a win. Venom did not attend.
